Each opportunity is a new story to tell. Côte d’Azur, definitely one of the most incredible experiences.

I took the Paris-Nice flight, went to Cannes and stayed at the Verlaine Hotel. After checking in, we went for a light and health lunch at a restaurant by the sea, the Cbeach.

After lunch we were able to watch closely the Régates Royales regatta, celebrating the 40th edition organized by the Cannes Yacht Club. The event that represents the elite of the entire international regata was held from September 22nd to September 29th, 2018.

In a delightful evening, we had dinner in Cannes.

I woke up early the next day and went straight to Grasse town to visit the international garden of perfumery. The tour was guided and it was the time of the jasmine harvest (September), a real source of inspiration for all ages. The roses harvest is in May. If you are near Grasse town, it is worth doing this tour.

Lunch was by the pool at the Mas Candille’s divine restaurant, with a charming cuisine and a menu that whets the apetite. It is a wonderful hotel with Provence styled rooms.

After lunch, we rode collector cars, like a 50’s movie scene!

To end the day, we visited the Belém boat, the only boat from the nineteenth century that still works.

Dinner was at the fabulous Martinez.

Another place we visited was Mougins, a picturesque, snail-shaped town. The city is an open air museum, which was inhabited by great names in Art, such as Picasso. One of the most charming villages in France. Oh, just thinking about it makes me want to go back.
